When Yahweh finished creation, He saw that it was very good (Gen 1:31). The Kingdom of God involves a people, place, and the presence of God. This was the Garden of Eden, Adam, and God, who walked with Adam in the Garden. This creation could have spread through the earth with a people of God, however, man sinned, and creation was broken. In Adam’s rebellion, man was distanced from God, and creation was cursed. Yet even from this time Yahweh has been in process of restoring the Kingdom of God through each and every covenant (Gen 9, Gen 12:1-3, Exo 19:3-6, 2 Sam 7:12-13, Luke 22:20), until one day all people will be God’s people living in God’s presence in His restored Kingdom in the new Heaven and Earth (Rev 21:1-4).

From the beginning Yahweh has initiated this restoration process with his divine intervention (Gen 3:15). Each step forward towards the reconstruction of the Kingdom of God has ben initiated by the divine intervention of God and a covenant. Yet, this divine intervention comes with a call to human responsibility. Man is to live righteously before God, and justly towards man (Gen 18:19). This twofold pattern is repeated and reinforced in each covenant we find in Scripture. When Jesus was asked which law was the greatest, He quoted the Shema (Deut 6:4,5) and Leviticus 19:18. We are to love God and to love others. In loving the Lord our God we are to live righteously before Him. In loving our neighbor as ourselves, we are to live with justice towards men. This is a core concept of each covenant within the context of people, place, and presence.

However, there are those who teach false gospels. Scripture warns us there will be false teachers who will introduce destructive heresies (1 Pet 2:1). They will claim to bring the message of Christ, yet just as Satan disguises himself to seem appealing and convincing, so too will these false apostles disguise themselves (2 Cor 11:13-14). We are repeatedly called to wisdom, understanding and knowledge in the ways of God and the gospel message that we may bear good fruit and continue to walk on the right path (Col 1:9-10).By studying the Scriptures we are able to recognize the messages of these false teachers.

Yet many do not truly study so as to learn what Scripture says, and are easily led stray. Many search scripture to find what they want to believe. Some only pay attention to what seems pleasing. Others put down academic study and elevate faith as the only responsibility of the believer. It is one thing to have faith, but if one does not join faith with knowledge and wisdom, then one is easily led astray as they faithfully follow what seems appealing to them. This is not good at all, and it is my desire that through truth and faith, we will continue on the path of orthodox righteousness and justice towards the last day when creation intent will be restored in the Kingdom of God which will truly be Very Good.

This site is about the truth of Scripture which leads to salvation and the future hope of a restored creation intent (Gen 1:31) and the refutation of those heresies which mislead countless people from the truth.
